when you do this upgrade if you buy most packages you get the calipers loaded w/ pads, rotors, and sometimes you get lines... now dow you need to get a cobra bracket since the rotor is larger therefore pushing the caliper farther out? or does the stock bracket work?

Yes...you do need brackets.... But, those brackets come on the calipers! I just ordered a set of 13" brembo cobra rotors, maximum motorsports SS lines, and mach 1 calipers from stangsuspension.com. Got it all shipped for 409 using stangnet as a discount code. Pretty much the best deal I could find for any package with SS lines.

Yeah, the calibers should come with the brackets.
As Benny said, Stangsuspension would be the cheapest place with SS lines. I will be getting mine from them when Im ready to order.

just order the calipers (comes with pads), rotors, and lines... dont need anything else but brake fluid. also, just bleed the system while you are at it. entire job took me bout hour and a half to replace both sides and blee theh full system.

I got the full kit there, front and rears. Watch out though the 03 "cobra" calipers were on back order as well as the rotors. I ended up getting the bullit calipers, and a free upgrade to stang suspensions slotted and cross drilled rotors. I would give them a riong because there is a nationwide back order on the 03 cobra brembo rotors and calipers.

They were easy to install, I was curious how did everyone else cap the brake lines when they uninstalled them?

I love the new look mine gave me. Look into the bullitt calipers and cross drilled rotors and stainless lines. Those should be in stock most places.

Understandable, thats how I originally ordered it. I didn't want to deal with waiting for it being backordred wit no extimatable date of when else i could get it. I got a free rotor upgrade and stainless lines. The 1 inch brakes FILL my 17 inch wheels and make it obvious that you put brakes on.

i went with the brembo calipers because i wanted people to know that i had brembo brakes. when i installed my lines, i left the old caliper connected to the lines until i had the brembo setup all bolted up. then switched it all over. this is how i do any brakes on customer cars.
