I have an '02 GT & I just picked up Cobra 11" slotted/drilled rear rotors (part# M2026C) with caliper brackets (part# F4ZZ-2C100-B). Do I need anything else to upgrade to these rear cobra rotors?

Also, I would like get Cobra slotted/drilled 13" front rotors (pt# M1125C)to match the rears. What other parts would I need to upgrade the fronts? Will 13" rotors clear stock 17" bullitt rims or should I settle for the 11" slot/drill GT rotors?

I am working on a limited budget so let me know your thoughts. If this upgrade will be too costly I guess I'll sell the rear stuff I have (cheap). I was hoping these brakes would go well with the Vortech to come in a year after the wedding!

Thanks!

If you get front Cobra rotors you'll also need Cobra calipers+brackets+hoses.

The rears you will need the anti moan brackets. You will have to pull the axle out to replace them but that is fairly easy to do although time consuming.
The fronts need calipers, pads, rotors, brackets and the hard to find Cobra banjo bolts.

Plus, gear oil stinks to high heaven.

If you get the Cobra fronts you might as well get a kit, and they usually include lines and banjo bolts and crush washers. At least the one from mustangparts does.

Ford ususally carries the banjo bolts, but whether your local dealer has them in stock can be hit or miss. Try Randy Stinchcomb over at ModularDepot...sign up, sign in, then go to the "Ford Parts" forum that he runs (he works at a dealership and sells parts thru this forum)...

On my list, for when the money flows a little better, are the Baer Eradispeed Brakes, both front and rear (OEM calipers in the rear) for $700. Ck em out:

That Baer kit would be useless for a track car. Plus the fronts are only 12" where the Cobra kits are 13" rotors.
