I have the 13" COBRA Brakes from Mustang Steve up front for my car, and would like to run the COBRA rear brakes in the back as well, do they make brackets that will allow you to use them on a 9 inch? I serached and found kits for fox bodies, just not for my app. Any infor would be great

check out www.ultrastang.com he has a cobra rear disk conversion kit. you'll have to round up the calipers and rotors and stuff but his kit allows you to use the factory cobra anti-moan brackets as well which the currie kit does not. also do a search on his user name (ultrastang) he posted about the kit within the last couple of months or so.

I just installed the Currie brackets along with the Cobra 11.65" rear brakes on my '65. No fitment issues. I haven't done a test ride, but the installation was very easy (just have to get new axle bearings pressed on as the Currie brackets replace the retainer plates)

Yea thats good to hear, I called Strange engineering, and Mark Williams today, about getting a 9 inch from them, and Strange said they could build a rear to suit my power requiremtns and accept the SVO or Explorer disk brakes though not the cobra ones for about 2500, and Mark Williams said they would do the whole rear custom for 3900.
