Or should I go with a steeda 19 setup with 1.6's? I have a brand new set of AFR 165's but i want to change the cam also.My buddy has a cobra cam meaning all i would have to do is buy the 1.7's.My question is how much HP can the cobra cam hold??
If you already have the afr's, and are considering a cam, why don't you get a custom one from Jay Allen (camshaft innovations) or Ed C @ FTI? They'd be better than an off the shelf cam at only a slightly higher cost.
A statement like that is pretty bold. I'd like to see the data supporting it.
FWIW, my Dyno2000 software says the Cobra cam will make equal or more horsepower than some commonly recommended cams, but less torque; I believe the wide LCA is the cause. 270/270 duration, too.
