Cobra Computer

Its kinda confusin' the way you asked...

The cobra computer is its own diff. computer with several deep (deeper than the tweecer can see) changes to its programming. Yes its "code" is J4J1.

A GT computer is diff. in its stock settings than the cobra "J4J1" computer...there are several diff. 94-95 gt computers from auto/manual and coupe/vert configs.

With the tweecer and ford computers the "family" of eec is like you last name..everyone in your family has the same basic DNA that can be traced to YOUR family. The "code" would be like your first name denoting your NOT one or another in your "family" but YOU.

All eecs in the same family can run all the "codes" listed for that family.

Our family is called CBAZA

the family codes that are used mostly are T4M0 (a GT base file) and the J4J1 (a cobra base file).

A gt computer is not "really" a cobra computer even if it has a cobra tune on it IMHO because if the tweecer fails it is hardwired to run a GT base tune.

So its kind of a yes and no answer depending on what instance you are asking

it was my understanding that it was the same computer just flashed with a diff. file. as in the same box, same internals, but at the factory they just flashed the computer with the cobra tune instead of the gt tune.

but idk?? maybe not?
