Ok I have a simple question I am wondering if the braket surround of the cobra foglights is supposed to come thru the opening in the foglight hole in the bumper???

I attached some pics I just whipped it into place so its a bit off.

But even when I try I cant get in it in totally even on both sides, the one inside bracket is allways in slightly farther (as you can see in the pic). If anyone has a cobra bumper on their GT let me know what yours is like...or even a real cobra. I dont know if the bracket is slightly positoned diffrent because I just used the holes that were there for my GT fogs (the middle and left hole)

Thanks

that looks normal to me--at least that's how mine are, too.

i'm not too worried about it as i'm probably gonna use some GMC Envoy fogs--i've seen that they fit waaay better.

Im so anal about stuff like that. Well I enlogated the holes in the bracket so I could slide it very slightly to the opposite sides. Worked out great!!!

Paul, FWIW, I think I run 893's on the stock GT lights (aka the black holes). I think spec was 885's and the 893's put out like 12 more watts (do I have that right, or am I backwards)?

The reason I even posted was that I can hardly tell a difference with the stock fog light housings and those bulbs vs stock (I'd hate for you to not get as much extra light as you hoped, though like I said, the stock GT housings suck so bad, a spotlight wouldnt help).

I dont know about the snake fogs Matt, but me thinks no one (sans you) will never notice.

Good luck.

Now you know why i took my fog lights out. I like the look of the two big ol' holes anyways. Your's dont look bad. But hit a curb and you'll have a cockeyed light which looks like balls. Leave em till they look bad.
