about to push complete order... this brake kit is gonna go on my 04 GT...

buyfordracing.com cobra front kit

does this include caliper brackets? there not listed or pictured? how about the banjo bolts?
Im assuming its the same package that american muscle offers(obviously alot cheaper) and AM lists the brackets and banjo bolts..
just making sure buyforracing has everything there for what i need

thanks

Just got mine last week. The Banjo bolts come with the stainless Steel lines. The calipers has extra material to move them out for the larger rotors.

I'm not entirely sure you need different brackets for the front; I know you do for the rears. When I upped to 13s on my GT, I don't recall ever having to change caliper brackets. I just got the rotors, calipers, hoses, and banjo bolts.

...self-hijack...I need to check my rear pads...probably got about 60K on them, at least worth a look...

yes it includes brackets, and yes you need new brackets since the cobra rotors are larger than the GT ones.

The kit should include everything you need. Great choice in mods, it was one of the best bang for the bucks that I did.

Sorry for the thread jack...

Does anyone know where I can find the Cobra brackets seperately? I have the Calipers... Just need the brackets? I wonder if Ford Racing sells them on the side.

This is correct, its a direct swap out from the old calipers to the new ones.

Did it come with 2 sets of banjo bolts? On americanmuscle.com note, it says not to use banjo bolts that come with the brake lines, which are for mach 1/bullitt. Here's the direct quote:

NOTE: The banjo bolts that come in the brake lines are desigined for the Mach 1 and Bullitt Calipers. The banjo bolts that you will need to use come with the kit, but are packaged in a separate box. Do not try to force the banjo bolts that come with the lines into the Cobra calipers, as they will destroy the threads. You must remove the bottom crush washer that is holding the banjo bolt on the line and remove the fine threaded bolt, and then run the new coarse threaded banjo bolt through the brake lines.

It's $404 shipped to where I live, so tempting....
