Well i got done with my install this morning,it went pretty well being my first time.I have to say its feels like a whole different car.The intake really woke it up.The fox tb swap give it more room and gives it a quicker throttle response.I recommand it to anyone doing a intake swap. Thanks everyone who help me out.I will get pics up later. The mods were a 93 ported cobra intake,93 cobra TB,modded cai,and a 180* t-stat.

thanks
Jesse

Yea everything went pretty good. The idle is fine and the pwer is there. So from here im going to start with suspension, wheels, tires, and then in the fall i will go for some heads.

here are some pics of my car and the engine. The engine is really dirty and the reason is because i didnt have time to do it.I did the swap outside in 30* weather and less.

BTW the intake i got from ebay,It look good on the pics that he sent, but when i got it, it was all scarp up.So when i put my heads on i will get it powdercoated.

looks great, i wish i did that when i put my cobra intake manifold on, but it didn't occur to me. If i every swap intake manifolds again i think i will go with the fox style T/B setup just for the reasons you mentioned, more space and better throttle response. Great job, and enjoy the cobra intake the car pulls much better up top

So you just bolted the tb to the intake right. You didn't need an egr delete plate or anything. I'm about to do a tb swap and didn't know if I could bolt the tb to the intake.

I know for the 93 cobra intake there is a egr spacer built in,so you could just bolt it on the intake. If you do other intakes you will have to use a fox egr spacer or EGR delete plate to mount throttle bracket

Heres my thought. Would it work if I made a bracket similar to the egr delete. So I can use my current throttle body so I don't have to buy a new one and sell this one.
