Cobra Intake And Gt40 Heads

Hi this is my 1988 GT. I just spent the last couple weeks freshening it up a bit. What I did New timing chain water pump shorty headers GT forty heads cobra intake 70mil throttle body. the result is much better power in the higher rpms.

Looks good! You need to get that air filter back in the fender though.

What size injectors? if stock, grab a 94-95GT 70MM MAF and a $15 flange off Ebay- Direct plug and play.

Looks terrific. Very nice build. Are those Cobra GT-40s, or GT-40p heads off an Explorer?

They are GT40s not the GT40ps. I have the stock 19lb injectors. I didn't want to build a race car I was looking to have a nice driver with a bit more punch. I'm happy with it but need that last piece the bigger MAF. I was really amazed that when I pulled the heads off there was no wear or ridge of any kind in the block after cleaning it looked new.
