Cobra intake throttle body whats the max size i can get??? i heard its 65mm but im looking to buy this 70mm if its only 65mm big then a 70mm would be worthless right? so i should save money and get the 65mm???

I beleive the opening is 70mm, but '93 cobras came with 65mm TB's.

The question is, do you NEED a 70mm?

The tb opening on the intake can very easily be opened up with a die grinder.

does a 65 mm compared to a 70mm throttle body offer much of a performance difference?

ive got a 70 mm on my cobra intake with no problems....dont know the performance diff from a 65 and 70.

Yes if you have done head work you will need bigger than 65mm but if not your heads wont support more than the 65mm even though the Cobra manifold is bored to handle a 70mm. If you want/need a bigger TB you can go Accufab or BBK or Edelbrock MAC or others.
