Cobra intake, what gains? which gaskets?

Im gonna install a cobra intake soon and was wondering what gaskets I should use. Putting it on my stock motor gt convertible

Currently its stock motor, stock headers, offroad xpipe, mac mufflers
3.73s, asp pulleys, and AODE to T5 swap.

With this combo I ran 14.6 @ 95mph with a 2.07 60 foot as my best with lots of 14.7s ran at 2.1 60 foot
What do you think I can pick up with a cobra intake?

Your heads and cam are the biggest restriction in your system. You may find better breathing at higher RPM's but not much else with everything else stock. It's a good start to a better performing set-up, however.

FYI - I had a Cobra intake with my TFS TW heads and they weren't the best match as the port sizes are smaller on the intake and the gasket doesn't seal the best as a result.

Quick question, don't wanna hijack the thread but while we're on the topic.... I want to install a different h/c/i setup if I can get the parts for a reasonable price. I'm interested in a Cobra upper/lower intake...I know they can only support around 350hp but thats fine since i don't plan on drag racing my car, just want some extra hp that i've lost with age. So my question is, with a Cobra Intake, a pair of gt-40 heads and an e-303 cam, how much more power could i expect? Am i going to need to replace my stock tb and maf for larger units? Is my mileage (152k) so high that its unwise to modify the engine? Knock on wood the car still runs great with no major problems to date, timing chain was replaced about 2 yrs ago. Thanks for any advice.
