I searched and couldn't find an answer for this. Probably a stupid question, but will a Cobra intake match up well with stock heads? What size is the TB opening, 70mm? Also, for anyone running a Cobra intake with a stock motor, what other mods did they need to make for it to run well? Bigger fuel injectors? Bigger MAF? I was offered a good deal on a lightly used original Cobra intake($250) and haven't decided if I'm going to take it or not. I was planning on acquiring in the future, but if this is a good deal and I wont have to put a lot of money into other areas at this time to make it work well, ill go for it. Thanks.

- Cobra intake matches very well with the factory E7 heads.
- The opening is 70mm large by the TB
- You will NOT need large injectors/maf... an intake is simply not enough to require more fuel. MAYBE 10-20 hp.. MAYBE. Factory injectors are good pretty much up to 300 hp.

- $250 is a decent deal for an original cobra intake. The newer ones are made in china and are *quiet* up to par as far as the machining goes.

Yea the new cobras that are made in China aren't as good as the original. I just got one and the paint isn't the greatest.

Thanks for the help. Is there anyway to tell the difference between an original Cobra intake and a replica from pictures? The guy is telling me that it's an original, but I want to be sure before I purchase it.
