What's the difference in flow numbers? Is there any? I notice they do look different.

I can get a 95 Cobra lower that I will be using for my KB install. I noticed there is no ACT sensor bung in the manifold. Are they mounted some place else on the 94-95 Cobra's?

The sensor is mounted in the air intake on 94/95 cars. The lowers are the same but now that the cobra manifold is outsourced to china, im sure its not as good as the real USA made one was ;)

The GT40, Cobra and Explorer all share the same basic lower. There are some differences -- presence or lack of tapped cooling holes for egr, ACT location, etc --- but from a flow perspective, they're all the same casting. Don't know about the units from China. Perhaps tmoss has seen some of those from his customers and can tell us how they stack up compared to the older USA produced models.

They're the same lower intake manifold, the only difference will be the ACT sensor hole behind the #5 runner is not there if it's a 94\95 cobra lower or and explorer lower. Now whether or not the new Ford Racing Chinese made 1993 cobra lower is as good as the US made one is a matter of conjecture.

Casting quality inside the runners is not quite as good but still not bad. Outside is pretty good. the Chineese version has slightly more cross section at the head flange but once ported, they are pretty much all the same. I will say I noticed that the metallurgy of the Chineese intake makes the aluminum noticeably harder, so it's harder to cut and takes longer.
