That's what wet nitrous systems are good for.

Sucks when you hit the gas and you aren't in some decently high RPMs or at WOT. Also, wet systems > dry systems.

Yeah, you can have a perfect setup...everything absolutly right.

But then you full up your tank with bad gas...and your screwed.

My friend that helped me install my X-Charger was saying I should get nitrous going...I said hell no!

The problem there is he activated the nitrous too soon. The Cobra motors don't flow enough air at low engine speeds to get all that nitrous to the chamber, thus a backfire through the intake. RPM activation is the only way to go with a mod motor, or that will happen. It's not the nitrous' fault. It's user error.

Even if he hit it too soon, do you really want a button that will kill your car? Those guys are lucky no shrapnel came back to bite them.

i cant beleive how many people are against the spray. as long as it is done right, there is nothing to worry about. nitrous will give you the same performance at 20deg as it will give you at 140deg. try to get that out of a turbo or a super charged car. if the kit is put in right and the tuner knows what he is doing, there is nothing to worry about. right now macon more performance ( badassfast.com ) has a stock bottom end 04 running 10.90s all day long. oh yeah this is a daily driven car that will shoot the spray all day long. come down here and see what happens.

With a MOD motor the "hook it up right and you're good, hook it up wrong and you're f**ked" thing goes for pretty much any mod that gives over 20 HP. With a power adder, it's ALWAYS in the install and the tune.

the great thing about the spary is that you dont have to kill supercharger to make great power. after 15lbs that eaton is working. you can always go with a big whipple, but the spary is easy and effective. but it is all in the tune.

When I saw the vid my first thoughts were they activated it way to soon, it was barley turning 2k and he punched it. I would consider the new system for the S197 that is throtle position sensitive.

That was not a S/C terminator, the 99 and 01s were not built for boost and did not have all the goodies on the inside.
