I recently bought a 94 cobra and i'm putting together my Xmas wish list for the wife. I'm planning on doing a H/C/I upgrade after the first of the year so I'm wandering what parts i can add to the car now that will work with the future upgrades. I picked up a seat of ported AFR heads and Holley system max intake. Still undecided on the came. But anyway, what size Throttlebody and maf should i order? Should i get an aftermarket TB spacer?

Thanks for any advice.

I would do a 70MM t/body and a 75 or 77 mass air. You don't need a spacer.

I used a 70MM Throttle Body and Pro-M 77 MAF on my Holley intake. I also took a wire wheel, installed it on a drill and cleaned up the Throttle body opening on the intake. Also if you're running the elbow you'll need to open that up as well. It's not 70MM. Which AFR's? 165's?

Thanks for responding. They are the AFR 165's. I picked them up from the machine shop that builds my circletrack engines. A guy dropped them off to be rebuilt and have them ported and matched to the intake. He never came back to get them, so i almost got them for free. $250+ case of beer.

Sweet mother Mary, I wish I could fall onto deals like that. A nitrous system will work with future mods.

Any advice on how much nitrous and which brand to go with. If I decide to go that route this will be my first EFI car with a bottle. It would be nice to find a used kit to try, just incase i dont like it i dont have alot invested.

I've also considered going with alchohol. I just havent found much info on EFI cars running it.

The alcohol isn't terribly realistic. Alcohol is more for race cars. It dries the crap out of everything, costs a fortune to set up, and your gas mileage will be terrible. I really like nitrous, but I admit good nitrous setups cost good money. I'm sure I have $1500 in my nitrous setup. The best kit is still the old NOS dry kit, which you can find used for about $200 now.
