Well i've had the Cobra R front bumper from Cervinis on for a while now. I love the looks of the car with it on. And get compliments on it all the time. My problem is I want to sit the car lower. Alot lower. Obviously this would cause problems with the front lip. Anyone get away with doing it? I was thinkin of cuttin a coil on the back and maybe using an air suspension setup on the front to raise and lower when clearance required. Maybe some of you more experienced guys have a clue.

I have a Cobra R front end from Cervini's and I cant wait to get it off. Sits way to low and quality was complete ****. I would never try to lower it. It his on everything.

Maybe the area your around doesn't have as many screwed up driveway entrances. lol. Just goin to wal-mart can be nerve racking around this part of TN.
Your car looks incredible though 01MustangGT. I knew it would look awesome dropped like that. maybe i'll just do it and ride with my stock bumper normally. and put on the R bumper for the track and shows and the like.

So if your setup works, than a 1" drop would work for me. those are 18" rims right? i was thinking that with 18's it might work.

The wheel size won't matter unless you put tires with huge sidewalls on them to make the car sit higher.

BTW, I love the R look, but I would drive around with my butt puckered all the time worrying about tearing it up.

thanks for all the compliments, guys.
i put lots of money in it though.
6500 for Kenne Bell with installation.
2500 for rims and tires and front bumper.
i still saving for the clutch cause' it is slipping badly lately.
again, love to see that all u like it.
:nice:

Ive heard of people putting about a 1/4 inch piece of metal under the front of the lip. I dunno if this would help a lot but Id also be too worried about driving around on a 400 dollar front bumper THAT low to the ground.

$400+ paint. The urethane is fairly forgiving but the paint isnt!

Im thinking about the air ride system too! Im sick of pulling into gas stations worrying about it dragging. Most times if you take hills at an angle you can make it but sometimes youre not able too.

I live in Ohio too and had the joy of driving it over this past winter. If the stang got better traction it could serve as a snow plow with the R bumper on it.
