I'm looking for a new hood for my cobra and I've decided on the cobra r style since my car is white and I really like how the R looks. But before I blow the money, I have two questions (and I know that brining up this subject is like beating a dead horse):
1) The cervini hood gets really good review for fit and finish, but do they emboss their name in the bottom of the hood? I know I've seen this on one of their other hoods at a car show and it kind of turned me off. I'm not going to pay $500 to advertise any company's name on my car. (unless they give it to me for free haha)
2) Supposedly H.O. Fibertrends was the OEM supplier of the R-hood to Ford. I know it doen't have an underside liner, but how's the quality compared to Cervini? Better, worse, same???? It's significantly less expensive so I'm leaning toward their hood.
I despise body work and want to buy a hood that will bolt right up with out any triming or extensive sanding, other than regular body surface prep. I would appreciate any input you might have. Thanks, wihtecobra95
