Im a little confused about the Cervini's Cobra R hood. I have seen it advertised as a 3.5 in raised center and the factory hood as a 1.5 inch. I did a quick search and was not able to find a clear answer for my question. So my actual question is weather or not the Cervini's hood is taller than the factory Cobra R hood or the same height?

There are different versions of that hood. Some are taller then others. Whatever it is advertised as is the rise of the hood. Mine is close to 4" it was done by HO Fiber Trends.

HO Fiber trends made the hoods for the 95 R Cobra's. Mine did not have the vents in the hood but it was a one off build kind of thing. I think at one point the back section of it was open but there was a peice that was held on with rivits. I drilled them out and left the area open to get better ventalation.

Mine has an opening on the driver's side. It's a 4" made by the same company who does them for Steeda. Can't remember the name.

Good choice. I got a stalker bumper from them for my 95GT a few years ago and the fit was amazing.

yea now that I got the hood figured out, now I have to figure out where to get the cobra bumper. seems like everyone under the sun makes one except Cervinis.

I know other sites ( Some of the big ford dealer sites) sell the OEM bumpers as well. I'll take a look later on on my other computer I dont have it on my laptop and cant remember the site. Heading off to a car show shortly but I'll look when I get home.

The fit on my Cobra r hood was better than the factory hood. After I adjusted the fenders to fit the gaps on the hood, the gaps at the doors were more even.
