Cobra R wheels

I'm looking to upgrade wheels, and I've seen the Cobra R wheels from FRPP referred to as forged, while most of the Bullitts and Mach 1 wheels are cast.

Is there a significant performance advantage to the Cobra R wheels? I assume the forged material would allow them to have similar strength with less weight?

i have 17x9 04 cobras on my car and their pretty heavy. my buddy has 17x9 cobra r's and there feather light compared to mine.

your not going to notice a performance difference, wheels are for looks unless you have a car thats pretty seriously modified

im sure they are better quality however, the forged ones are probably less prone to cracking and what not

oh yeah, there feather light!!!

forged is usually stronger, and more expensive then cast parts

oh, and Cobra R's FTMFW!!!!!
