Hey everyone. I need some info on a strut tower brace for a 95 Cobra. I want the one that uses the pre-existing mounting holes already in the engine bay. Does a stb from a 94/95 mustang fit a 94/95 Cobra? There was a thread on this a while back, but I have had no luck finding it. Any help or info is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

the stock '94/5 GT brace won't clear the Cobra intake. The FMS brace will clear the Cobra and other aftermarket intakes. Other brand braces for '94/5's will clear and should use existing holes. I use the FMS one and fits good. Only cost about $90

Also depends on what hood you have. I bought the BBK strut tower brace from Brother's Performance and it fit great, til we went to shut my 96 Cobra hood. I had to pay a welder an additional $40 to modify it.

BTW - went for a test drive without the brace.... fug that, the guys on here without one are nuts. My car was all over the road.

Just about any aftermarket one will work with pretty much all aftermarket intakes. However, if you want really strong, you may wanna get a chromoly one. Or if you want light weight, you can go with a aluminum one from SnowPerformance. I dont know of anyone using there stuff but I heard about them on stangnet somewhere.
