code p0153

02 circuit slow bank2, sensor1.....does this mean that my 02 sensor is bad? If so is this the driver's side front sensor? Can I test the sensor by switching the front sensor from driver's side to passenger to see if code follows?

Thanks in advance:D

Drivers side front air fuel sensor indicates the engine air fuel ratio is not being adjusted by the oxygen sensor signal or the ECM as expected to do so It could be the O2, the wires could be frayed to it, or that side has an exhaust leak.

ok here you go, you swapped your x, did you snap off the clips that keep the o2 sensor wires from dangling? on my car not having the wires teathered and kept from moving the plug alot i got those codes. as soon as i wired them up tight i have not got either left or right side code again . i bet that is your problem.

ive had the same prob for months now. only my check eng doent come on even though i have the p0153 and p0133. nor have the codes come up for my rear o2 cuz i dont have ne cats. i know the bulb works cuz it comes on for a sec every time i start the car. i have no idea wat is goin on. i replaced my drv side o2 and the pass side code went away???????!!!!!!wtf? i dont see how not having the cables tethered would make a differance?

guess I will be crawling under to make sure everything is tight....yes I did remove the clips holding the rear wires in place, have to to make the connections from the 02's to the MIL eliminators to the harness, but I used wire ties to tie the wires up and out to the way behind the transmission...... the front wires still retain the clips. thanks for the help....if anyone else has any ideas keep them coming.
