Coil over?

they are definately easier to tune for whatever you want...I installed my coilovers and i love the look a the ability to choose my ride hieght.. coulnt tell you how they ride yet though.

ok by "performance" I mean should I jsut sell the ones I have now which is Illumina struts and Pro Kit eibach springs. What would the differance be If I had coilover Illumina shocks with tokico springs. Roughly the same spring rate if not the same (didnt really look it up yet). Cause I currently have it set up like sock with springs outside and struts torward the center of the underside.

well you dont have to get rid of your shock you would remove your current springs and replace it with a coilover kit that goes over you tokico shock... gratennelli makes one and so does griggs and maximum motorsport too. they would also be a good source of what spring rate to go with depending on what your goal with the car is...ie drag, road race, street...anyways you really cant compare the stock spring location even with after market spring to a coil over due to relocating the spring to the shock change the geometry front end. you can actually get a better handling car with a stock feeling ride. good luck in your quest.

Yea the thing is my car has x2 balljoints, bumpsteer, offset bushings, The thing is with the pro kit and the illumina I can adjust through the 5 levels. It doesnt adjust to drag or drift but I do not do that often. The dspec is what I was looking at for coil overs but I am afraid that is too much adjustibility for my needs.
Anyone have install pictures of coilovers? and what brands and types have you guys had good results with?
I know my set up works well enough for what i need, but I am sure I could do better
