Coilovers should I buy them? - please help asap

I just got some Maximum Motorsports CC plates I paied $165 for and the guy I got them off has some slightly used X2C motorsports Coil-Overs he will sell me for $100.

There are the pics of them. What do you think? I have eibach pro springs now, is there really an advantage for me to buying these? I dont drag. I will visit the track once and a while but I dont think it will be a regular thing. So my cars pretty much Street.


THE THING IS I got some Tokico Illuminas they are the 94+ style I didnt get the fox style because I got a good price on them, wouldnt coil-overs cause the strut to bottom out easier which is allreay a risk running the 94+ on a lowered car???

there only 175 rate...need input please people. what about the bottoming out issuse i asked above.

reading it again, those guys are talking about the rear coil over design of the x2c being horrible. they don't say anything about the fronts tho ...

I wouldn't put any X2C suspension components on my car -- I value my life, and a failure in the front suspension would probably mean a nasty wreck.

And 175# springs are pretty tiny, unless you're building a dedicated drag car.

If you want coilovers, go Maximum Motorsports all the way .
