So here on Long Island - the weather has been really cold lately. Since this cold weather has showed up - I have seemed to lose all traction while shifting hard.

When I go from 1st to 2nd gear - my rear tires start skipping on the concrete. I would prefer if they did not - even if it is cold out.

My buddy has a 67 camaro and he used to have this problem. He put on traction bars to resolve the issue.

Has anyone done something simliar to what my friend above has done? I would love to get rid of this skipping issue!
