Coming back again

It's been a while since I visited because I didn't have my '06 GT very long. For various reasons, I sold it and bought an '06 Dodge Charger Daytona. It's a great car and I love driving it, but every time a new Mustang goes by, I get that little twinge that reminds me that I'd like to have another Mustang.

Well, I called my Ford dealer today and told the sales manager I wanted to be notified as soon as I could order a 2008 Bullitt Mustang. I know it's a ways off, but Bullitt and Vanishing Point are my 2 all-time favorite movies. So if all works well, and if my wallet can stand it, I'll get a new white Challenger when they come out, or shortly after. Then I'll sell my Daytona and have the Bullitt and Challenger, the 2 cars of my 2 favorite movies

Why not keep the Charger and paint it black. Get the Bullitt and we'll drive to San Francisco to reinact one of the best car chases ever. I guess the problem would be that the new Bullitt would probably smoke your Charger (if Ford gives it the performance mods I am hoping for).

I will be very envious if you are able to swing a new Challenger and Bullitt as I would be in heaven with either one.

Reenacting the chase scene would be way too cool and one of those once-in-a-lifetime events. I wonder how far we'd get before SFPD shut us down?

You would probably get to the end of the chase. Assuming you didn't end it the way the movie did. And then face one hell of a ticket.

Welcome back. I had the same feeling after getting my Magnum. I love the car, but every time I saw a Mustang, I had to have one and got the bug. I still want to get another Sn95. I loved my '03. As much as I love the '05, there's still something special with the Sn95.

Good luck with the dealership calling you back. I went in a year or so ago and got put on the list for the GT500. Never got a call.
