I own a gt stang a while back, sold it, and went thru 4 camaro z28. I have a good deal from a guy, selling a 1995 mustang gt 5.0 full exhault system, nice looking body, no engine problem, but he say the car jerking back and forth a little and seem to have lost of power, its automatic btw. He say either the tranmission or tranmission pump ?? He ask 1600 for it, What you guy think the problem might be, Kinda miss the sound of mustang.

If its clean I would buy it and fix the jerking. It could be a number of diffrent problems.

It might not be the transmission. It could be anything from the suspension to the engine. I'd take a test drive first, but sounds like a good price as long as it doesn't have too many miles. I miss my '94 GT sometimes.

KillaGT:

Welcome home!

You can read up about the AOD-E transmission in "Transmissions 101" in the Tech Articles/Transmissions section of TCCoA.com. Lots of great info in the series of articles written by former Ford Transmission Engineer, Jerry Wroblewski.
