Sorry im over from the 94-95 tech section because I think i might have better luck here, well i bought the springs that comp cams recomended as an upgrade for up too .600" lift as im runing the TFS Stage 2 cam in my 331, I had them istalled at the machine shop, picked them up and was told everything went smoothly, well over at the hardcore5.0 forums some guy said that theinner spring on the 987-16's that comp told him to use on his 185's are tight on the valve seal. Some other guy says that he had blow-by because of worn valve seals with those springs, The motor is on the engine stand and fully built ready to go in this week, i paid to have the springs put on and valves adjusted because it's an area in not familiar with, It sucks if i have to take apart the motor just to buy 250.00 spring upgrade, and adjust the valves again. What are my options??? the machine shop should have known if they were going to be a problem right???
