Compression Check Question

I recently did a compression check on my bone stock 94 Gt convert aode and ended up with 125 psi plus or minus 3 psi on all 8 cylinders. The leakdown test wasn't that far off too. It looks like the valves and rings are good but my question is: Is 125 psi weak? What are they at brand new? Just wondering if this is good enough for a lightly abused cruiser. thanks for any help.

I just checked my 2500 mile 331 stroker and got 150 on all eight.

The acutal number isnt as important as theyall being about the same. alot can affect the actual number, like the battery charge, cam overlap specs. Yours look good to go!

sweet. I guess the old man took good care of her, other than never replacing ANYTHING!!! Now I'm gonna build it up. BTW, Don't buy optima yellow top. They have a lot of issues. Get the redtops instead
