I plan on building a dart sportsman 331 with forged internals, AFR 205 (225?)heads, a custom cam and some high (12-20#) boost from a kenne bell blower. The question is what type of compression should I build this motor to? I still want enough that if I ever take the blower off I will still have decent power. Also, what type internals do you recommend? Scat or Eagle? Other? Thanks. Andrew

If your going to use the KB, the compression can be 9.0-9.5:1. SCAT and Eagle are both quality rotating assemblies, SCAT is probably just a tad bit higher quality but both 4340 assemblies will handle 1000hp no problem.
