Im thinking about buying a 33Gal 6hp Craftsman compressor and was wondering if anyone use this model? I want it to run impact guns, air rachets, sandblasters and paintguns, Will this work? Do I need bigger? I just need something to help me finish this car.

Thanks,
Jim

I wouldn't buy an OIL FREE, think about it, lubrication is a good thing

That is the same Craftsman I own and I wish I would have bought a real compressor rather than a modified bike pump on top of a 33 gallon tank. The pump takes forever because it REALLY IS NOT A 6HP COMPRESSOR. There is a discalimer in the owners manual that it is a 1.5hp compressor.

I agree. I own the same one. I would suggest spending a couple hundred bucks more and getting a good one. Volume is extremely important if you are using spray guns since you shouldn't spray while the motor is running. Get the biggest tank you can afford or you will spend half your time standing there waiting for the tank to fill instead of painting!
