I did some mods and had to update my Xcal 2 tune a couple months ago. I set the TPS to 0.98 with my digital multimeter. The normal idle was learned quickly within a few days, and it idles perfect at 700-800 rpm's. But for some reason the computer wont learn the idle with the A/C on. It hangs really bad and about 1200-1400 rpms and then drops to normal. But every single time you hear the compressor click on, the idle pops back up to 1200-1400. Its getting annoying during stop and go traffic because then the car wants to go faster on its own since the idle kicks up. What could be the problem and how can i fix it A/C idle? Its been like this for 2 months and there is no CEL.

Have you tried disconnecting the neg battery terminal and letting it sit overnight?

Believe me, I didn't think it would work either when someone told me to do it but it did fix my idle problem. The only thing is everytime I make tuner mods, I have to do it all over again or the idle hangs.

I had a hanging idle problem when i changed my car over to a ported stock intake and a FRPP 70mm t/b. The problem was the T/B blade wasn't fully closed however, i had to adjust the set screw to close it up.

I'm sure thats not your problem but just sharing some info. What mods did you do to the car that cuased this??
