Confused about clutch pedal assembly wiring??

I am doing a AOD to 5sp swap.

I just received my clutch pedal assembly. On the side of the clutch pedal I have one gray connnector that looks like it has two slots for connectors in it.

On the brake pedal side, I also have a small connector. (Not the connector that attaches to the brake pedal)

I think I found the connector under the dash, it is a connector with another connectory plugged in that just makes a loop.

I am confused on what goes where, and if I need anything else.

Help would be great.

That loop is for automatics. Fro 5 spd cars, that loop plug is removed and you install a clutch interlock switch on the clutch arm so that the car will not start unless the clutch is disengaged. Put it in - it's a safety feature. Wiring schematics can be found at www.veryuseful.com/mustang/tech/engine

I would also note that IIRC, there is a second switch on the clutch arm for the CC (so when you depress the clutch pedal, the CC disengages). Might want to retrofit that if you have CC.

thanks guys.

On the clutch netural swith, there looks like there is a place for two plugs. Once I unplug the loop connector, I can connect that harness to one of the plugs. Is that all I need to do? What about the other spot?

Is there any harness for the Cruise Control or do you just have to splice into it? Thanks

Okay, I'm with ya.
So....the clutch swith will have one empty opening? What is it used for?

I can deal with the Cruise later, right? What is the cruise wired into on a factory 5-speed?
