confused on blow through MAF or other?

i searched for this cause i remember a thread but i couldnt find it.

anyway, the one thing im still confused about is the MAF i need with my novi 2000 which is comming by summer i hope.

everyone has pointed me in the direction of the sct BA 2400 90mm maf.

this seems like the way i want to go. isee it will support well over the power im going to have.

QUESTION is this says "suck through" i assume this is what the centri blower needs, but what does this mean? what is the difference between suck through and blowthrough maf's?

theres the link. 2 more things. in the paragraph it says supports 800 some hp but then under that it says 400-575 rwhp. right under that it says supports more on roots style blower. why? if anything i thought it would be opposite.

also it states that its a direct bolt on for lightnings and 03 cobras. what about my GT will it fit with the novi pipe and all?

Suck through means it is placed before the blower so air is sucked through it, instead of being placed after the blower where it is "blown" through it.

As for the hp ratings 825 is at the cranks. The different ratings I assume is because the setups have different flow characteristics to make the same hp, but I agree I would have thought it would have been the other way around.
