Ok, I got these from a friend who thought they were 1.90's but everything points them to a 2.02 intake. (part # 6025) Does anyone have a solid answer on this. I searched for a LONG TIME and found a few helpful articles. Can I measure the valve to check this. I already have them on the heads. What is measured? just the diameter of the bottom of the valve??? I measured that and it was less than 2 inches.... very confused.was I suppose to measure something else/somewhere else??

Just found this at corral:

Im looking at the aluminum heads I got from a local seller and he said they were 6037s I came home and looked and on top of the casting it says 6025 and it says 6311 underneath 6025? on the side of the heads it says Edelbrock performer EO D-215-16? so do I have 6025 or 6037s? need to know cause I want to know if I have 1.9 or 2.02 intake valves I dont want to notch my piston etc I just want a direct bolt on.

and the reply:

ed they're performer 6037's the rpm's and the performers are the same casting thats why the numers you see inside the head where the springs and stuff are read like that . only the performers have the e.o. number thats the emissions certification number. if ya want to varify valve size use a ruler if it's under 2" is the 1.90 vavle

So i think I am good to go. I also just read that the heads with 2.02 are stud mounted rockers mine are pedestal so that answers a lot of questions. I hope this helps someone else too!!

I know this is a old posting but figured Id throw this in here for anyone that may be looking/searching for this info to help clear up the confusion as Im seeing these heads up for resale more often due to there age & older part #s.
Im putting it on a couple sites also.
