I just got done with my engine, i love the power this thing is making, yet I am inclined to do more... (isn't everyone?) Anyways, I was considering taking out a loan to get the car supercharged, and to put a t-56 in. Do you guys think this is stupid, or have any of you done it. I could just save up for a few months and then do it, but i want it asap.. Tell me your opinions on this, and what you guys have done to maybe cut costs, and get things done a little cheaper, besides doing it yourself. (I do all my own work) I know this probably belongs in talk, but i figured id get no responses. Thanks guys!

I would say just wait till you have the money instead of having to pay the bank back + intrest. in a few months you can really plan your combo with a bit more detail as well. just my .02

Totally agree with wytstang, while we all love our Mustangs, recognize that it is a hobby (if a rather obsessive one ), and like all hobbies, it's not worth getting into debt over.

Pay as you go is the way to go... and besides, anticipation of what's coming is half the fun.

i dont think you should take out a loan for parts...its just not a smart idea.....if you were ordering through SUmmit and knew you could pay it back in a year id say get their credit card cuz it offers no intrest on puchases over $500(i think) for a year
