He was attacking '94-'98 GT's not V6es. A V6 owner saying 5.0s and non-PI 4.6es are "unpowered" is like the coal calling the kettle black.
As for the '94-'98 V6es putting out more power when modded, is it possible that the '99+ cars simply have not been modded to the same scale?
Think about it, you buy a '94 V6 for $2k, or buy a '99 for $7k. Who is going to have more money to play with?
People buy the older cars and pull the drivetrains out and start from scratch. People buy the newer cars, and slap duals and a CAI on them and drive them to work.
