I am going to replace Ball joints and Control arm Bushings on my '87 GT at home if possible, I have a bench vise and sockets. I was wondering how anybody else has done this without a press. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
The ball joint press will help you. Or go to an automotive store with a machine shop service. My store pressed in 4 bushings and 2 ball joints for 50 bucks. Dropped them off before work, picked them up at lunch, installed them after work....DONE. No headaches, no bull****.
