After getting my 5 speed in and running it on some M/T drag radials I am getting a lot of noise coming from the rear suspension. The factory junk is done, I can move the lowers side to side with a small pry bar. I can only imagine what kind of havoc is going on back there with mild launches.

Getting down to my question what control arms have good quality bushings? I am kinda looking at Steeda heavy duty lowers and the adj uppers. Its a street driven car, what kind of bushings should I opt for.:flag:

thats a good question because i visited maximum motorsports web page the other day and thay said stock rubber bushings were better for street driving and cornering because they don't bind.......but that on a drag oriented car urathane's would be fine.....so i'm curious what others have to say about this

when i ordered my MM lowers, i was told over the phone that if you putting over 400 hp go with solid bushings. i asked them if they would be ok on the street and i was told i would have no problems.

i have only driven the car for about an hour with the new upper and lowers in and so far i am satisfied, but i only take the car out when its nice and whatnot.
i had urethane bushings on granatelli lowers for about a year and when i took them out the bushing was ripped up from the sleeve thats inside the bushing. not sure if the bushings just sucked or what but they were in rough shape.

i would go with MM lowers with a solid bushing on the axle side and urethane on the body side. they dont ride harsh they just make some noise.
