are just aftermarket upper control arms worth getting, or is it pointless to get uppers without lowers as well to gain any better traction. i only ask because for whatever reason, i cannot get my mac exaust to fit, either it hits the underside of the frame, or it hits the control arm, where it flanges out on the stock set-up. i know if i just got an aftermarket set they usually dont have that lip so my problems would be solved. im just wondering which ones do most of the work, or if they only really net a gain together?

Uppers are really only good for cornering, but they say you can just replace the bushings and have just as good handling with a lot less money. So they're not gonna help straight line performance, that's what the lowers are for. Also, you have to pull the lowers to replace the uppers, so if you plan on doing lowers at some point, just do them now.

damn... alright thanks, i dont know, with the long list of mods that take precident over control arms, i dont think i could have the money for both, evn uppers are a stretch... the only real pain in the butt now is that every time i take a corner, no matter what speed im going, when the wheel turns right at about 2:30 the exhaust rattles on the control arm and shakes through the entire car. you know that no matter how nice you try to make your car, paople just focus on the one minor thing that isnt all that important and thinks your entire ride is a piece of crap...:Total-CP:
