Control Arms...Experiences/Comments About These From UPR?

Keep in mind I am not building a race car... Just wanted to know if these would be worth it to gain some handling/traction with my setup as opposed to spending mid $100's just for lowers.

from what i've been reading on here and corner carvers is that they are pretty much pointless especially if you go cheap. The binding effect from the cheaper brands will actually cause you to handle worse.Your best bet is to just get some good lowers like MM and call it a day. Also if you ever plan on getting a panhard/torque arm, your going to get rid of the uppers anyways.

I usually go by that standard...I just thought that maybe someone on here uses the UPR's and likes them a lot.

Anything is better than whats on there stock, If you install them correctly and grease them you will have a much better ride. Especially if you drag race occasionally. If you want more room for adjustment, you will have to spend more for the adjustable ones, Which in most case's coem with spherical bushing which create alot of road noise. If your just looking to tighten up the ride and are not going to do a road race or full suspension kit they will work fine.

I wouldn't use those uppers. If you get UPR uppers, get the ones I just got. The double adjustable ones with sperical on both ends. You have to buy the rear end side sperical bearing seperatly and its not cheap. At the very least if you do get those uppers you posted, get the sperical bearing for the rear end side.

Go to www.artsperformanceparts.com to buy your stuff. He's a upr dealer and is cheaper than upr directly. This is where I got my stuff from.

I do suggest buying torque box reinforcements and new bolts.

if you're looking for all around UCA's just keep the stock ones in

RC, I had those in your first post and they lasted a year, the bushings split and the hole in the arms became oblong or egg shaped. Called UPR and explained what happened and they discounted the Pro Series Doub adj, uppers and single adj lowers.

The ones that gave out on me I purchased second hand but they were never installed and I believe that they are some of UPR's earliest products in which I heard they had defects in craftsmanship.

they weren't defects, that's how they were designed, cheapest way possible
