We pull into the outlets at Riverhead NY, and in the parking lot I see a red 2005 GT convertable. Beautiful car, all shiny and new. Of course I practicly run out our car to go over and admire this car.


Me: Look at this! Its beautiful! Look how sleek it looks! The lines on this are just gorgeous.

GF: Its ugly. The grill looks stupid, the steering wheel looks really gay. Its really ugly and dumb.

Me: ..........

GF: I really hate it. I think the corvette looks so much better.

Me: .......!!!!!

Yeah, it's weird, there's like 5% of girls out there who think the 05 Mustang is just plain ugly. My wife's one of them. But every single one of them that I've met also really like how the 94-04 Mustangs look, so I guess to each their own.

I didn't like the look of the 04 I prefer the look of the older cars. So the 05 is really hot.

I don't like the SN95s but my g/f does. Luckily she thinks the new Mustangs are even hotter so to each his/her own I guess. Get a new girlfriend....j/k

You are all missing the underlying issue in the first post.

You were holding her up from shopping...outlet shopping at that. It could have been diamond encrusted and she still would have complained.

Man you have to learn...outlet shopping for 2 hours AND THEN you get five minutes of "your time" to gawk at cars.

Jeesh..youngsters...never will learn.

This is so funny! Many of my conversations with guys (including my brother) insist that the 05's are hideous. All of my 40-something friends and many girlfriends insist that the 05's are the classic mustang. I am trading in my 04 GT for my 05 GT and my brother thinks I've lost my mind.

I am only 20 and I think the 05 is the best looking Mustang since the classic ones. The other ones just didn't look like Mustangs to me.

I am a fifty something female who traded in her Camry for a 05 Mustang GT Convertible and I just love the car. I think the body style is perfect, looks much better than the last 25 years.

Hint from an older guy- never, and I mean never EVER- no matter how annoyed with her you are, state:

"No, baby, you're ass makes you look fat!"

It was a leather jacket, and I was pretty upset (beautiful trenchcoat that I bought), but I still hear about it ten years later-'cept now it's funny

a lot of girls realize that the new stang is 10x sexier than them so they try to say its ugly...sorta like how every girl in highschool talks about the cheerleaders to their boyfriends cuz they know they aint quite that hot

Girlfriend can't stand the attention the Mustang GT gets ...

Its really funny. I told her the other night "At least its not another women!"
She gets pissed because I park really far away in parking lots whereever we go and park the car sideways. I tell her I don't want to get a door ding by some jerk that does not take care of his own car and then wants to ruin someone elses. She gets pissed because I wash it twice a week. And gets even more upset when I tell the kids to make sure they don't have any pens, pencils or other sharp objects in their back pockets before entering the vehicle. Would'nt want the leather seats to get cut !
So am wacky like that ! SO WHAT !!! I DON'T TAKE DRUGS, I DON'T SMOKE AND I DON'T DRINK (Ok Occasionally).

There are alot of worst things a guy could do and I don't. Am 41 going on 42 and yes this is my midlife crisis ! I love my 05 Mustang GT and I can't get her out of my skin. LOL
