Basically I want to get some opinions on whether or not I should invest the time and money into converting my 88 hatch to mass air because every time I go to pull the trigger on a injector/mas combo I find myself second guessing whether or not it's even needed.

Im actually in the process of swapping in a holly systemax intake and 70mm throttle body right now along with replacing the trashed t5 with another known good one but no cam changes in the future for me right now because I don't plan on opening up the motor at all.. it's my daily driver

so what do you guys think or suggest? would sd work fine drivability-wise with my intake and exhaust combo?

run it SD until you have to convert it, SD will take lots of timing

Yep, leave it SD as long as possible. SD cars run really well.

From the factory speed density cars ran better than the mass air ones.
