if i have to spend 3200.00 for a new tranny and converter it seems foolish to not look into changing to a manual tranny.
does anyone(besides you know who) know of a comprehensive parts list to change to a manual that can take the 400+ tq this motor puts out.

Guess I rubbed you wrong at some point...
Anyways, I already posted it up for the last guy asking the same question.
And if your really looking at doing it soon, I can list every place to get each part and the exact price and availability.

Also, I don't know where you got the idea that a new 4R70W costs $3,200...
Hell, here's a fully built one WITH a high stall converter for $2,000 Shipped!

...Did you see the part about the warrenty? Drop $200 more and you can cover every part of that bad boy for 3 years and even covers the labor if it has to be taken out.

I have used this guy's auto trannys in 3 cars that I did for some local guys. They work flawlessly... Unless you have slicks and a stock rear end. It will shred 26 spline axles if your making good power.

btw... Just finished bolting the 5.4 together... I'll get some pix up as soon as the turbo is on.

AHH!!! That would cost a fortune!

Pedal assemblies are $150.

Tranny harness is $70 from Ford dealer. Everything else is Ebay stuff if you know the right people to buy from.
