I would like to tap into the knowledge on here and find out if I should have purchased a lock-up converter; or need a tune to cure this problem.

Trans-Go & 3000rpm Precision Ind. converter
When driving from a stop light at lower speeds, it shifts by itself (and sounds like I'm revving the engine), when I'm not, I'm just driving normal. When this have anything to do with a non-lock up converter or just the fact that the EEC is telling it to shift like it still has the stock converter?
Please help!

PS - I'm going to get it dyno-tuned this summer, just want to get this figured out before (in case I need to send it in to have it made a lock-up)

Thanks,

A 3000 stall will take more RPM to get it to move the car. It should drive around just fine though. Lockup has nothing to do with what you are saying...at stop lights anyway. The lockup function is only used in 3rd and 4th.
