convertible at track ?

how quick can a conv. run at a track without a rollbar? I know a helmet is required,what is the snell (?) rating required.would like to run my car at the track for the first time but don't want to get there and told to go pound sand,

13.49 or faster and you need a bar.

snell 95 minimum.

you can use an M helmat for late night drag racing at most track same with auto and open/hpde events

I bought a 6 point bar and only put in the main hoop and rear braces and have been running it that way since 1999, it has always passed tech.

does anyone know the roll bar requirements?? also does one get kicked out for running too fast? i guess im asking how many illegal runs can i make before someone notices?(after the 351, if it runs slower than a high 13 i'm gonna be PIST)

when i first went with my vr4 they asked me what i thought it would run. i flat out said ill need a helmet. ive been told they are pretty quick to catch on when you run too fast.

Just be nice to them and they seem to let you get away with a little more. unlike me i have had a few words with them and last time i got kicked out for running three hundredths under what I teched for. Before I have gotten a couple of warnings.
