Convertible Top Cable Clips - Where To Buy?

So the convertible top hold down cables are held on by small aluminium clips that are riveted to the top frame. Of course I managed to break one when clamping it back down over my cable while replacing my top. I checked with the local dealership and verified that these are (of course) no longer made. Then I checked 50resto and Johns Mustang and could not find them on their sites but I did not talk to employees of those companies as it was after their business hours.

So my question is, does anyone know if these are sold by anyone anymore or do I just have to improvise? A pic of the clip is below:

i can't answer your question, but one of the actual cables in my car snapped. what is the purpose of the convertible top cables?

The cables help secure the top to the frame. I would order some new ones if yours have snapped.

Don't know they carry the part but they specialize in vert parts. You could try giving them a ring.

Thanks for the heads up. I tried them along with Late Model Restoration and no one seems to make these things.
