I was wondering if anyone has ever converted their cat-back to a dump style catback and if anyone has any suggestions on how to do this conversion. i think i have an idea but i would like to know the opinions of others. thanks
I'm going to do this to mine. I've already ditched the tail pipes but need them for inspection. So, I'm going to set it up so I can just bolt the tail pipes on for inspection but then convert to dumps once I get the car inspected.
You can buy a dump kit from Jegs automotive. All you have to do is cut the tail pipes off near the muffler and then clamp on the turn down pipes in the exhuast-dump kit. The kit should come with the turn down pipes and clams that are needed.
