I've been laying low lately, working 2 jobs and busting hard to save my pennies for this. Happily, today my new toy arrived. Picked up a CNC mill to aid my small business and do some more complex custom work.

Excited is too small of a word for me right now.

Here's a few pics:

And to keep it relevant to :SNSign: :

The notch gives up about 3500 lbs to the tool. If they tangled, it wouldn't be good for the fox! haha

The only thing I can say now is that I'm going to try to make things which aren't available everywhere already. Lots of ideas, but it's going to take a little time to get used to this thing.

Honestly, right now it's a little intimidating!

Nice piece, I still use my trusty ole bridgeport :)

As you see, this has a bridgeport style head (R8 taper). The bed mills with a solid column were simply out of reach. I got lucky on this find, since I was looking hard at knee mills. Having 22" on Z was too good to pass up!

Wow. I have a few ideas:

How about a whole CNC Foxbody? LOL, that would be awesome, but I doubt it could be done. How about Ford Emblems, but instead of FORD writen in them, have "foxbody" or just "FOX". With what ford is doing with lawsuites, I don't want thier name on my car.

A gauge/switch bezel for us that have deleted radio and HVAC would be an awesome start.
