Cool addition to the shop

Thanks for the comments. Mike and I toyed around with the machine tonight, running some programs without any cutter installed. It runs well and so FAST! Coming from the small mill we've had, it's almost scary fast. It's equivalent to stepping out of bone stock fox body and right into a blown/nitroused 347 car. LOL

what do they make?

Back in 2003, my friend and I started an online business to sell A-pillar pods for the 1994-2006 Mustangs. Sadly, our design doesn't suit itself to the fox body (I tried!). If you want to see what we make, goto www.speedofsoundllc.com and check it out.

As far as some of the requests for parts, we'll get there. Must take small steps first. Here's a quick video clip of one product for the 01-04 stangs we currently make. Buyers get to pick their layout and engraving, so each part is made-to-order. I think it's pretty cool, unlike what's out there already.

Video loads a little slow, sorry.

mustangillusion, thanks for the offer! The control is the Milltronics Centurion 6, which I believe to be a FANUC style control. I must admit I'm not completely sure of this. Haven't made it through the 5 lbs of manuals yet!

Haha, if anything it means higher prices! :nono:

One thing it means is we'll make more parts, and the fox won't be left out. No way, too many ideas...

dont leave out the 4 eye stanges

you should make some gauge covers for the 79-86 stangs along with the passenger one. i would buy a set of them. im tire dof looking at my fake wood grain :nonono:

Nice step to advance your capabilities......before you know it you'll be putting up a warehouse to store all your Aluminum

That would be fine with me!

We had to farm out the CNC work for this bottle bracket, but now we can make it in-house. I drew this on a sheet of paper and my partner did the CAD work for cutting. This was a fun part to make for a car that's in the King of the Street competition right now in Bowling Green:

For the 4 eye dashes, we've got a friend who is already discussing this project with us. I don't have any measurements yet, but it may still be too large for us to make. He wants to do a full Autometer conversion setup in an 85.
