Look sweet, but you think with all the work done to the car he would have tried to cover up the rivets on the hood.

The front looks really good, I love the hood and the rivets on the hood look ok. I am not a fan of the rear that really should have been done on a hatch.

I love the whole 'idea' of this car, and this one was extremely well-done. However, I agree, this should have been done to a hatchback car. Not knocking it in any way, a lot of times projects are done to the car that you have on hand. Also, I think the rivets holding the cowl to the factory hood were left unpainted and exposed, for a reason, as a 'look'. Still wishing it was a hatch...

they're there on purpose, to mimic the look of the old school machs

The louvers on it look white trash because its a notch. Louvers do not belong on any Notch. Besides that (and whatever the black line is over the grille) its very well put together and is purely badasss

I've toyed with the idea of doing something similar with my car, and while I like the "themed" car thing, I think sometimes it ends up looking like your car wishes it was a different car. This car is a perfect example. It's not what a Mach 1 Fox would have looked like so much as it is a Fox Mustang wishing it was a 2004 Mach 1. Lose the SN-95 interior, build a period-correct pushrod carb'ed engine for it, add Mach 1 stripes to the sides, and call it what an '80s Mach 1 would have looked like. Don't get me wrong, it is a very cool car, but just not the direction I would have taken with it.

I'd like to see more pics, too. I want to see how he did the hood. I'd LOVE to have a shaker hood scoop.

I like the car. As all of you know I did a mod motor swap and am currently doing another. He could have done something much cleaner and nicer with that radiator bracket. I mean, that is the first thing you see when you pop the hood is a crooked bracket. I took so much time to ensure Hack Job looked factory as I will with this car. It only takes a few more minutes here and there to make things work better.

I couldn't agree with you more on that. I guess thats kinda what I'm wanting to do with my car. I call is the SC/302 and i want to make it look like a package you could've gotten from the factory back in the early 90's.

I like the concept. A lot. However, I HATE that it is done on a notch. The louvers and wing look horrible and the random SN dash in the wrong color looks stupid. Do it just like that on a hatch, lose the dash and I'd say it was one of my favorite Foxes ever.
